The Society is anchored by an Honorary Vice President who brings a historic legacy from the 1947 Wigan-based British Society of Commerce and decades of academic continuity. This vision is supported by membership experts with extensive experience in professional education and membership organisations, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry standards.
This institutional heritage is complemented by a Council of Management of doctoral researchers, forensic accounting specialists, and procurement veterans. Together, our team offers combined centuries of experience in accreditation frameworks and regulatory alignment. Kevin Henry
Kevin Henry is the Honorary Vice President of the Business Society of Commerce (BSC UK). A former Chairman and Council Member of the British Society of Commerce during the 1970s–1980s, he brings decades of experience in professional practice and academic leadership. With over 25 years of experience in property valuation and education, he provides valuable insight to the organisation. It is a distinct privilege for BSC to have him serve as Honorary Vice President, contributing to the Society’s governance continuity and institutional heritage.
Mervyn Pilley
Mervyn Pilley is a Director of the Business Society of Commerce (BSC UK) with more than 25 years of experience in professional education and membership organisations, including senior roles with the Institute of Commerce and the Business Management Association. Founder and Co-Founder of two professional bodies, he specialises in accreditation frameworks, governance, and institutional development. At BSC, he supports regulatory alignment, strengthens institutional partnerships, and contributes to the organisation’s membership and professional qualification growth
Dr. Kenneth Wing Kin Lui
Dr. Kenneth Wing Kin Lui is a highly accomplished multidisciplinary professional, currently serving as a Partner at Hanligent Family Office and the Director of Delta Company. Blending expertise in wealth management, technology R&D, and academia, Dr. Lui holds an impressive array of doctoral degrees across diverse fields, including Electronic Engineering, International Business, Public Health, Adult Education, and Management Science. After earning his first PhD at age 26, he built a robust career spanning financial consultancy, software development, and academic mentorship. A prolific researcher with over 20 international academic publications, Dr. Lui is also a dedicated educator who has guided over 2,000 students through their dissertations. He holds esteemed Fellow memberships in numerous professional bodies, including the Institute of Financial Consultants and the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants.
Gilbert Jeannot
Gilbert Jeannot is a Council Member of the Business Society of Commerce (BSC UK). He is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in Risk Analysis and Investigative Accounting. With a career spanning several sectors and over 21 jurisdictions, he has demonstrated his expertise and passion for the Financial Industry. Gilbert drives the Society’s objectives in Mauritius, where his role encompasses the strengthening of professional standards and financial governance, as well as representing the Society in international engagements. As a finance and forensic accounting professional, he also brings extensive experience in financial management to these contributions.
M. R. Krishna Kumar
Kumar is the Founder and Executive Director of the Business Society of Commerce (BSC UK). A finance, Procurement and Logistics professional with over four decades of international experience, he specialises in financial planning, procurement strategy, and corporate governance, leading BSC’s global expansion and professional qualification initiatives.
